Saturday was the launch of my speed 4 quilt. I know I should have posted this yesterday, but you'lll just have to believe me speed quilts are quite tiring to teach. When people are working that fast they tend to make any errors quicker too. So if I am to have any chance of stopping them I need to be watching every where at once. Despite that I love this class. It's one of my favourite day workshops. It's fun and people are always surprised how much they get done. As you can see everyone (even those who would insist they are slow) made great progress in the day. I think everyone did more quilting than I had suggested but still several came very close to completing their quilts. With this techniques you will end up with a completely reversible quilt. I think it is interesting how the quilts look together in the pictures. The feel is very different in the two pictures. As ever it's impossible to get all 10 people looking human at the same time, sorry to those who came out less well. I think they did all have a good day really :)
If you would like to have a go at this class or one of the earlier speed quilts your next chance is the Nimble Thimble summer school Friday 13th August. If you can't make that it will be running again at Patchwork Corner in November, watch their website for details.

What a fun class. Oh how I'd love to take your workshop. Unfortunately living in So. Cal. doesn't make it very easy for me to sign up. But it does look like a great class. Big smiles on all the students too! And I certainly love this cute design. Great stashbuster.

I can travel. If you can find some local shops or guilds who would like to book me, I'll come over.
Absolutely brilliant. They all look great.
