Well the package that was definitely scanned onto a plane bound for America at East Midlands Airport at 05:01 was scanned at Heathrow airport at 11:42. That's a very quick trip to America and back. This could be good (ish) news. It may mean they are heading home. OK it means that they have missed the show but at least they would be safe. Alternatively it may mean the shipment has been split and some are heading each way, it would make sense of some of the conflicting information.
Thank you to the American quilter who brought me this update.

Hello Ferret, Just saw Bonnie's web cast and looked up your site. I have been in the travel industry for years and have been forced to use DHL by my company. NEVER send anything via their service again! That is if you have the option, we were thankful for the advent of electronic tickets, but there are still occasions when we have to ship a paper ticket and it often is lost. Hope you get your quilts back soon! Your work is amazing by the way. Marge
I'm so happy to get to "see" you on the webcast. You are different from the picture I had in my head. I had perceived that you were tall and angular from reading what you wrote and viewing what you create. You had taken on a persona of great stature in my mind. I hope we get to meet in person someday. In the meantime, I remain a great fan.
Lovely to see you on Bonnie's vidcast. And also to see your stuff at malvern :)

unbelievable. I so hope it turns out to all be down to software glitches rather than the generalised imcompetence it looks like.
