Server still down
Our server has eaten it's power supply and our spare. I will be fetching it another one today but I will not be back up and running until at least tonight. This assumes that the mother board is OK, which we won't know until we can get a power supply to work. You can contact me by phone.

So do I. I know I had email I needed to reply to, and I had intended to spend Sunday doing that so everything was up to date before I got to Scotland. I can't see that happening now. Having got a power supply in that seems to be working we found at least one of the hard drives is sick. I am sure we will get there, but it is taking longer than we would have liked. Really the timing couldn't have been much worse. Still at least we have the know how and a local spares place. It could be worse.
Must be the time of year for it.
Looks like the graphics card in our main machine has gone into meltdown. Not greatly helpful to have no monitor just as Cy is getting stuf ready for the Birmingham show.
We have still not thrown out those 2 old PCs so if you need to rummage for whatever parts they have left as a stop gap you are welcome. Give Cy a call and he can probably tell you what's in there to savea wasted trip.
Thanks we will bear that in mind. We have been working our way through the machines here for parts. It appears to be mostly alive but not entirely talking to us, so today I have been hunting cables to see if we have output on the serial console. If that fails we may be in touch for whatever else seems like a good bet. Thanks.
