I got my first squishy today. Thanks Wittering Rainbow. She has sent me three shades of green that work well together, so now I am looking for a design I can make in three shades. It all very exciting. I guess I nee to pick something fairly simple, and ideally quite organic, hmmm maybe a green man? Guess what I will be thinking about today.
Well, if you're taking that route you should check out this site for the appropriate perfume.

Scents inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft and the Cthulhu Mythos. :D
You two are leading me astray. You have a point but the greens are a bit clean for that. Argh, the little voice in my head has just pointed out that I could paint part of each piece with grey, thus having six colours and more sludgy colours. I knew I shouldn't have brought Cthulhu home with me.
ReplyDeleteOh wow! I don't normaly like perfume, but smelling of dusty books and oak walled halls is right up my street. Yum.
ReplyDeleteI thought this one was particularly inspired...
ReplyDelete'A ghoulish and tortured scent, suffused with the blackness of space illimitable: ajowan, vetiver, black musk, opoponax, mimosa, and tamarind.' They must have had so much fun writing the descriptions.
Personally I think a Green Man would be fabulous. Probably because I've got a box of leaves that I made for a Green Man idea I had which somehow never got made.
Then again Cthulhu would be equally awesome...
ReplyDeleteDormouse, you really aren't helping me make up my mind you know :)
ReplyDeleteCthulhu takes on the Green Man in a battle to the death?????????
